Wyomissing, PA (2721 N Meridian Blvd) was a Chuck E. Cheese's that opened on December 20th, 2000 with a Studio C (1997) that closed on September 15th, 2024.

History

Wyomissing opened on December 20th, 2000 in a freestanding building near the Broadcasting Square Shopping Mall with the phase 3 remodel. The store opening with a 32 Movement Studio C (1997) with the prop animatronics.

Between October 2011 and November 2015 Wyomissing would update their exterior with phase 4/5 awnings and CEC lettering. Later on between December 2016 and September 2017 the "C" Cap Chuck Sign would be replaced with the 3D Rockstar Chuck Sign, making Wyomissing's exterior update completed. Around the same time Wyomissing's interior walls would be repainted to match the phase 5 remodel. Interesting though, Wyomissing kept all their 1990s store décor, making the location stand out from other phase 5 stores.

The store closed ahead of it's planned closing date, closing on September 15th, 2024. It was the last Chuck E. Cheese to feature any kind of animatronic in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

Stages

Wyomissing opened with a 32 Movement Studio C (1997) in December 2000. This stage was unique as it had a red apple TV instead of the usual green apple TV. Chuck wore either his late night attire or Cool Chuck attire when the store first opened. Wyomissing also had all the prop animatronics when it originally opened.

By the 2010s Chuck would update to his current Avenger Chuck attire, with Chuck's Avenger Cap being removed sometime during the Rockstar era.

Around May 2022 to 2023, Bird and the Pizza Phone would be removed from the stage for unknown reasons.

On September 15th, 2024, the location closed, marking the end of the animatronic.

Trivia

• Wyomissing's Studio C (1997) has a red Apple TV instead of the standard green Apple TV. It is also missing Bird and the Pizza Phone.
