Wolfman Zapp was the mascot of Zapp's Bar & Grill. He was created by Nolan Bushnell.[1]
History[]
Wolfman Zapp debuted in 1983 at Zapp's Bar & Grill, which was meant to be a more adult version of Pizza Time Theatre, with both establishments being created by Nolan Bushnell.[2][1] He appears to be a retrofitted PTT animatronic, with only three known animatronics of him being made. No audio or showtape of his has surfaced as of right now.
Zapp's Bar & Grill would stop expanding in 1984 due to PTT's bankruptcy, but would remain open until 1993.
Trivia[]
- There is not a lot known about Wolfman Zapp or his restaurant due to poor online documentation.
- A Wolfman Zapp animatronic was discovered attached to a truck in 2014.
