Hey there citizens of Chuck E. Cheese Wiki. Plans for the Northridge, California CEC's 2.0 Remodel recently appeared online. Many fans are upset at this for no reason at all, saying it should be turned into one of the supposed "Retro Stores" CEC is making. I personally think it's great that they are remodeling, because
- They haven't remodeled since the early 1990s: They still feature many early 1990s artwork and signs on the interior and exterior
- They have kept the same stage since remodeling: When they remodeled in the early 1990s (1993 / 1994 iirc), they replaced their C-Stage (originally a Balcony Stage) with a 2-Stage, which they have kept to the present day.
- It's overrated: I believe it is overrated because so many people go to this location to see the above things listed, but also keep in mind Northridge is a very tiny location. They are also basically just another PTT in California as there were 69 others (Many being in the Los Angeles area like Northridge). There have also been many modern day CECs opened in the Los Angeles area, meaning you can go to the other locations in the area.
