  • Chuck E.: Why, here's Charlie Rockit! Hey, Charlie! Are you excited?
  • Charlie: Yeah! Today is my cousin Roxy's birthday, and we're holding a big surprise party inside!
  • Chuck E.: Come on, let's go check it out!

(They enter. Inside the restaurant, Chuck E.'s friends and all of Charlie's classmates have gathered at the MMBB stage to prepare the party decorations.)

  • Chuck E.: Hey, look! There's everyone! Helen is making some decorations out of paper!
  • Charlie: Yeah! And Sophie, Katie, Jessica, Pia, and Tiffany are helping her!
  • Helen: Hello, everyone!
  • Sophie, Katie, Jessica, Pia, and Tiffany: Hi!
  • Chuck E.: Look over there! Pasqually's at the counter preparing the foods!
  • Charlie: And there's William, Brandon, Matt, Jacob, and Spencer!
  • Pasqually: Why, hello there!
  • William, Brandon, Matt, Jacob, and Spencer: Hi!
  • Chuck E.: And over there, Jasper and Munch are making the birthday banner!
  • Charlie: And so are Sam, Toby, Abby, David, and Megan!

  • All others: Great!

  • Brandon: Will there be games?
  • Sam: And music?

  • Chuck E.: Oh, there sure will! And everyone's invited!
  • All others: YEAH!!!

(They all get to their feet and dance.)

All: 'Cause today we're celebrating
A birthday that's so fine
We have got to get things ready
Better hurry, not much time
And we need your help to pitch in
We can't finish without you
All because today is a party
We'll have fun the whole day through
Yes, we know today is a party
We'll have fun the whole day through

(Song ends; they cheer.)

  • Chuck E.: Alright! Is everyone ready to get ready for the party?
  • All others: YEAH!!!!!!

(He is approached by Charlie's parents.)

  • Mr. Rockit: Wow, the place looks great!
  • Mrs. Rockit: Thank you for hosting Roxy's party, Chuck E., we really appreciate it.
  • Chuck E.: Aw, no problem, Mrs. Rockit. After all, it WAS Charlie's idea.
  • Spencer: Is this party gonna be big?
  • Munch: Oh, it'll be big, Spencer.
  • Toby: Will it be bigger than we ever thought?
  • Jasper: Only bigger than any party held anywhere but here!
  • Pasqually: It's gonna be so big, it'll turn the place upside down!
  • Matt: You mean we're gonna flip the whole restaurant over?
  • Chuck E.: (laughs) Not that type of upside down, Matt! It means we're gonna have lots of fun!
  • Helen: Yeah, and it'll be the most fun anyone's ever had! Come on, kids! Let's turn this place upside down!

(Music to "Upside Down" the kids cheer.)

Helen and the kids: Upside down
You're turnin' me
You're givin' love instinctively
'Round and round you're turnin' me
Helen: Upside down, kids, you turn me
Inside out, and 'round and 'round
Upside down, kids, you turn me
Inside out, and 'round and 'round
Instinctively, you give to me the love that I need
I cherish the moments with you
Respectfully I say to thee I'm aware that you're cheering
We've got a lot of work we have to do
Upside down, kids, you turn me
Inside out, and 'round and 'round
Upside down, kids, you turn me
Inside out, and 'round and 'round
It's fun to dance, it's fun to sing, and I just love planning parties
It really puts a smile on our face
And while the sun shines high, we'll jump up to the sky
Come, let's all party down at Chuck E.'s place
Helen and the kids: Upside down, kids, you turn me
Inside out, and 'round and 'round
Upside down, kids, you turn me
Inside out, and 'round and 'round
Upside down, (Upside down, you're turnin' me) kids, you turn me (You're givin' love instinctively)
Inside out, ('Round and round you're turnin' me) and 'round and 'round (I say to you, respectfully)
Upside down, (Upside down, you're turnin' me) kids, you turn me (You're givin' love instinctively)
Inside out, ('Round and round you're turnin' me) and 'round and 'round (I say to you, respectfully)
Upside down, you're turnin' me

(Song ends; the kids cheer.)

  • Katie: Wow, we're gonna really turn the place upside down, Helen!
  • Helen: You bet we are, Katie! Roxy's gonna be really surprised!
  • Jasper: Well, she will be surprised, once we all surprise her!
  • Chuck E.: Jasper's right. We're all gonna surprise Roxy when she arrives!
  • Charlie: Chuck E., what are you talking about?
  • Chuck E.: We'll hide in the restaurant, and when Roxy enters, we'll jump out and yell, "SURPRISE!"
  • Munch: That way, she'll be so happy we came to throw this party, just for her!

(Music to "Surprise" starts.)

Chuck E.: This is a party not like any other

It's one you'd never expect

Fun for every kid and sister and brother

It'll be the most amazing one yet

Watch your eyes go wide and your mouth hang low

As we give a cheer when you join the show

This party is gonna be such an amazing surprise

Chuck E. and the kids: Surprise, (Surprise!) surprise (Surprise!)

Something happens right before your very own eyes

Didn't expect it, won't see you dejected

When you find such an amazing surprise

Helen: After a rainfall, you see a rainbow in the sky

Pasqually: You're having a walk, but then balloons are floating high

Munch: You think you're getting greens for dinner, but instead it's pizza pie

Jasper: All these things come out of nowhere, 'cause they're such a big surprise

All: Surprise, (Surprise!) surprise (Surprise!)

Something happens right before your very own eyes

Didn't expect it, won't see you dejected

When you find such an amazing surprise

  • Chuck E.: Okay, listen up!

When we're all done with our party stuff, we find a hiding place

Conceal yourself from the birthday kid, so they won't see your face

And once they walk right through the door, they won't believe their eyes

'Cause once I give the signal, we're gonna jump out, and then...

All: SURPRISE!!!!!!! (they laugh)

Surprise, (Surprise!) surprise (Surprise!)

Something happens right before your very own eyes

Didn't expect it, won't see you dejected

When you find such an amazing surprise

(Surprise!) surprise (Surprise!)

Something happens right before your very own eyes

Didn't expect it, won't see you dejected

When you find such an amazing

When you find such an amazing

When you find such an amazing surprise!!!

(Song ends; they all laugh and cheer.)

  • Jasper: Okay, everyone. We still have lots to do before the party can start. We need balloons, streamers, confetti, party hats...
  • Munch: What about the food?
  • Pasqually: I'm taking care of that right now!
  • Helen: We also need to finish giving invitations to all our kid friends and their families.
  • Sophie: What about Roxy's cake? Shouldn't Pasqually be baking it?
  • Pasqually: I'm gonna need some help in the kitchen for that!
  • Chuck E.: Charlie and I are gonna go out and get the missing party stuff. Who wants to be the lookout for Roxy and her parents?
  • Spencer: I'll do it. I've been trained in the art of spotting things.
  • Chuck E.: Guess all those I Spy games worked for you, huh, Spencer?

(Spencer gives a thumbs-up and takes his place at one of the tables by the front window facing the street.)

  • Chuck E.: Charlie, when is Roxy supposed to be here?
  • Charlie: This afternoon!
  • Chuck E.: Aw, man! I'm gonna need some help from you kids! Three of you will have to come with me and Charlie if we wanna get this done, fast!
  • Matt: I can do it!
  • Brandon: Me too!
  • Katie: So will I!
  • Chuck E.: Great! Matt, Katie, and Brandon will come with me and Charlie to get the party stuff. The rest of you stay here and oversee the other preparations. And Pasqually, don't forget to make Roxy's cake!
  • Pasqually: Call me Pasqually the cake master! (giggles)
  • Charlie: Chuck E., we gotta go!
  • Chuck E.: We'll be back as fast as we can, kids! Later!
  • Kids: Bye!
  • Pia: Good luck!
  • Jasper: Don't forget to find balloons!
  • Megan: And send invitations!
  • Abby: And be back before Roxy arrives!

(Chuck E. and his team exit out the door.)

  • Chuck E.: Come on! You can help us!

(Changes to Chuck E. and the kids walking down a busy street giving out invitations. Music to "I Get Around" starts as they deliver.)

Chuck E. and the kids: Round round, get around

I get around

Yeah, get around round round (Wooooo)

I get around (Get around round round, I get around)

My kinda town (Get around round round, I get around)

It's a perfect day (Get around round round, I get around)

Gonna party, hooray (Get around round round, I get around)

Chuck E.: I'm gettin' bugged driving up and down the same old strip

I gotta find a new place where the kids are hip

My buddies and me are gettin' real well known

Yeah, the bad guys know us and they leave us alone

Chuck E. and the kids: I get around (Get around round round, I get around)

My kinda town (Get around round round, I get around)

It's a perfect day (Get around round round, I get around)

Gonna party, hooray (Get around round round, I get around)

I get around, round

Get around round round, ooh

Wah-wah-ooh

Wah-wah-ooh

Wah-wah-ooh

Chuck E.: We always take my car 'cause it's never been beat

And we've never missed yet with the girls we meet

None of the guys go steady 'cause it wouldn't be right

To leave their best girl home now on Saturday night

Chuck E. and the kids: I get around (Get around round round, I get around)

My kinda town (Get around round round, I get around)

It's a perfect day (Get around round round, I get around)

Gonna party, hooray (Get around round round, I get around)

I get around, round

Woo-ooo-ooo-ooo, woo-ooo-ooo-ooo

Round round, get around

I get around

Yeah, get around round round (Wooooo)

I get around

Get around round round, I get around (Wooooo)

Get around round round, I get around (Wah-wah-ooooo)

Get around round round, I get around (Woo-ooo-ooo-ooooo)

Get around round round, I get around (Woo-ooo-ooo-ooooo)

Get around!

(Song ends. Later...)

  • Chuck E.: Here's your invitation, Mrs. Hendricks.
  • Mrs. Hendricks: Thank you, Chuck E. I'll be there!

(Mrs. Hendricks leaves.)

  • Chuck E.: Wow! It's almost noon and we've delivered almost all the invites! We just have one left!
  • Charlie: It's Mrs. Miller's invitation! Here she comes now!

(She makes her perfectly timed arrival.)

  • Chuck E. and the kids: Hi, Mrs. Miller!
  • Chuck E.: Here's your invitation to Roxy's birthday party at my place today.
  • Mrs. Miller: Oh, thank you, Chuck E.! I almost forgot it was today! Good thing I have all of my presents for Roxy in my car.

(They giggle)

  • Chuck E.: We'll see you there!
  • Mrs. Miller: Thank you, bye!
  • Chuck E. and the kids: Bye!

(Mrs. Miller exits.)

  • Chuck E.: Okay, kids. Now we have to go to the party store and get all the party stuff.
  • Katie: You mean the balloons and party hats and goodie bags and a piñata?
  • Chuck E.: Indeed you're right, Katie. No party's complete without party stuff, you know.
  • Brandon: The party store's right over here, Chuck E.! Come on!

(They laugh and hurry down the sidewalk; changes to outside the party store. Chuck E. and the kids enter; cuts to inside; Chuck E. goes to the balloon counter.)

  • Chuck E.: Hey, Stu!
  • Stu: Why, hello, Chuck E. What's up?
  • Chuck E.: Are Roxy's birthday balloons here yet?
  • Stu: We just received 'em. All we have to do is get them from the back and blow them up. But we're having an issue in the storeroom, so...it may take a while.
  • Chuck E.: Oh, okay. (The kids come up.) The balloons aren't ready yet, but we can get the other stuff while we wait.
  • Matt: I can't wait that long, Chuck E.! We have to get them before Roxy comes!
  • Chuck E.: Don't worry, Matt. They'll be ready soon. Now let's go get some party stuff!

(They all cheer; music to "You Never Know" starts as they find stuff for the party.)

Chuck E.: You never know how much

A birthday party's special, for every boy and every girl

We need the party stuff

You never know how fun it gets

Kids: Hats, streamers, confetti too

Don't forget the goodies, fill your bags up with ease

Blowers make their noise for you (HONK!)

And bubbles make it all more fun

Chuck E.: Find a piñata, one that works the best

Fill it up with treats, and we'll provide the rest

Kids: This one looks great, we'll get it in the cart

Chuck E. and the kids: We will find the stuff we need with all our hearts

  • Charlie: A rainbow horse! Roxy loves rainbows and horses!
  • Chuck E.: This will be perfect for the party!
  • Kids: YEAH!

Chuck E. and the kids: We've got the stuff we need

The party will be awesome, you want some, well we got some

This will be fun, indeed

Will you think so, you never know

(Song ends. Chuck E. goes back to the balloon counter.)

  • Chuck E.: Stu, have you gotten the balloons yet?
  • Stu: Almost, Chuck E., we're still sorting out the storeroom. You might have to wait a little longer.
  • Katie: A little longer?! But what about the party?!
  • Chuck E.: Stay calm, Katie. The balloons will be out shortly. I wonder how Pasqually and the others are doing back at the restaurant. Hmm...

(Changes to Chuck E. Cheese's. Everyone is still making more party stuff; Spencer keeps watch. He sees something.)

  • Spencer: Someone's coming!
  • Pia: Is it Roxy?
  • Spencer: Nope, it's Mrs. Miller. And a few others.

(The party guests start arriving, Mrs. Miller is the first one in.)

  • Mrs. Miller: Hi, everybody! I'm here!
  • All others: Hi, Mrs. Miller!
  • William: Wow, would you look at all those presents!
  • Jasper: Okay, everybody, leave your presents on this table right here. Hey, Larry! Could you do a light check?

(Larry is onstage handling the lights.)

  • Larry: Sure thing, Jasper! Stand clear!

(He presses a remote, activating the stage lights. The kids voice astounded comments.)

  • Munch: I hope Pasqually's getting Roxy's cake ready. We can't have a party without a cake.
  • Pasqually: Hey, kids!!?? I need some of you to help me out here!!!

(They voice worrying comments; Tiffany, Toby, Jacob, David, and Sam hurry into the kitchen. Pasqually is waiting for them.)

  • Tiffany: What's the matter, Pasqually?
  • Pasqually: I'm trying to make Roxy's cake, but I can't find any of the ingredients! I think I need some extra hands.
  • Jacob: Why don't we help you?
  • David: Yeah, I wanna be a chef just like you when I grow up.
  • Pasqually: Oh, thank you, children! Thank you! We'll get this done in no time with teamwork!
  • Sam: Well, what are we waiting for? Let's start baking!

(They all cheer; music to "Bakin' a Cake" starts as we change to the kids wearing chef hats and aprons like Pasqually's as they assist him.)

Pasqually: Come on kids, 'cause it's time to bake

We need the right stuff to make that cake

Eggs, flour, sugar, baking soda too

Don't forget the butter and milk, that's true!

Pasqually and the kids: Gonna be bakin', bakin, bakin,

Gonna be bakin', bakin' a cake

Gonna be bakin', bakin, bakin,

Gonna be bakin', bakin' a cake

(They get the ingredients out of the closet.)

  • Toby: Hey, we found 'em!
  • Pasqually: Oh, thank you so much! Now we need to mix it up!
  • Kids: YEAH!

Pasqually: Gather your ingredients, toss 'em in the bowl

Now get your big spoon, so we're ready to go

Mix up the batter, stir as you can

This'll be the greatest cake in the land!

Pasqually and the kids: Gonna be bakin', bakin, bakin,

Gonna be bakin', bakin' a cake

Gonna be bakin', bakin, bakin,

Gonna be bakin', bakin' a cake

(The batter is fully mixed and put in a cake mold; they take it to the oven.)

Pasqually: Now into the oven the cake it goes

Where it stops, well, nobody knows

We're shutting the door, the timer is set

Now all we do is wait for the best cake yet!

Pasqually and the kids: Gonna be bakin', bakin, bakin,

Gonna be bakin', bakin' a cake

Gonna be bakin', bakin, bakin,

Gonna be bakin', bakin' a cake

(Song ends; they cheer.)

  • Pasqually: Way to go, kids! If it weren't for you, I would never have gotten the cake ready in time!
  • Tiffany: So all we have to do now is wait?
  • Pasqually: That's right, it'll take some time for the cake to bake. While we wait, wanna hear a joke?
  • Kids: Yeah!/I love jokes!
  • Pasqually: Okay then! Here it is: What kind of cake is perfect for fruits?

(The kids voice confused comments.)

  • Toby: We give up, Pasqually. What kind of cake is perfect for fruits?
  • Pasqually: A pineapple upside-down cake!

(They all burst into laughter; Jasper pops up at the ordering window.)

  • Jasper: Geez, even in the kitchen he has to give those!

(The laughter continues. Back at the party store, Chuck E. approaches the balloon counter; Stu is waiting.)

  • Chuck E.: Hey, Stu! Did you get the balloons?
  • Stu: Yup, we got the balloons out of the storeroom. We're inflating them now. It'll be just a few more minutes.
  • Chuck E.: Thanks! (his phone rings; he answers.) Hello? ...Oh, okay then. Just keep her busy for a few more hours. See ya.

(He hangs up and goes over to the kids, finding more party stuff.)

  • Chuck E.: Hey, kids! Roxy's balloons are being inflated!
  • Charlie: All right! Finally!
  • Chuck E.: But I just got a call from Roxy's parents. They're gonna be coming soon!

(The kids groan loudly.)

  • Brandon: Oh, no! But the balloons aren't ready yet!
  • Katie: And we can't leave the store without them!
  • Matt: We'll never get the restaurant ready before Roxy arrives!
  • Charlie: (sighs) I guess all this party planning will be for nothing.

(The kids slump sadly on a bench and sigh.)

  • Chuck E.: Hey, come on, kids! Please don't be all sad and glum like that! Be happy! The balloons are almost done, the least we could do is wait a while longer.
  • Charlie: But what if it's too late? Roxy will be coming soon!
  • Chuck E.: Aw, don't worry, Charlie. I promise you, we'll get everything ready before Roxy comes.
  • Katie: But how do you know that?
  • Chuck E.: How do I...? Hmm. I guess I'll have to help you lift those spirits!

(Music to "Put On a Happy Face" starts.)

Chuck E.: Gray skies are gonna clear up,

Put on a happy face

Brush off the clouds and cheer up

Put on a happy face

Take off the gloomy mask of tragedy

It's not your style

You'll look so good that you'll be glad

You decide to smile!

Pick out a pleasant outlook,

Stick out that noble chin

Wipe off that "full of doubt" look,

Slap on a happy grin!

And spread sunshine all over the place,

Just put on a happy face!

(The kids laugh; they stand up and dance with him.)

Chuck E.: Put on a happy face

Kids: Put on a happy face

Chuck E.: And if you're feeling cross and bitterish

Don't sit and whine

Think of banana splits and licorice

And you'll feel fine

I knew a girl so gloomy

She'd never laugh or sing

She wouldn't listen to me

Now she's a mean old thing

Chuck E. and the kids: So spread sunshine all over the place

Just put on a happy face

(They all laugh; Stu comes to the counter bringing myriads of balloon bouquets.)

  • Stu: The balloons are ready!
  • Kids: YAY!/The balloons!

(They all hurry to the balloon counter to pick them up.)

  • Stu: Thank you so much for waiting and being patient. I bet Roxy's gonna love these "Birthday Star" balloons you ordered.
  • Chuck E.: Oh, they're perfect! Thanks, Stu! Now let's go check out all the party stuff!

(The kids agree; some time later, we see a cash card being swiped, the cash register dinging, and the party stuff being stuffed in loads of bags. Chuck E. and the kids have their arms and hands full of them as they rush out.)

  • Chuck E.: Come on, kids! Back to my place!
  • Matt: Don't let those balloons go!

(They leave the party store and head back the other way.)

Chuck E. and the kids: Just spread sunshine all over the place,

And put on a happy face!

(Song ends as they laugh; changes back to Chuck E. Cheese's as they return.)

  • Charlie: We made it! And just a few hours to spare!

(Cut to inside the restaurant; Spencer sees them.)

  • Spencer: It's Chuck E., Charlie, and the kids! And they have the party stuff!

(All chatter excitedly; Chuck E. and the kids make their reentry.)

  • Chuck E.: We're back!
  • Helen: They made it!
  • Munch: And just in time, too!
  • Jessica: And you got all the party stuff! That was fast!
  • Helen: And look at all the people who have come!

(Shows the restaurant all jam-packed with guests and visitors.)

  • Pia: Yeah! All of Roxy's friends and family are here! And their friends and family have come, too!
  • Megan: It's a full house!
  • Abby: But we still need to decorate the restaurant before Roxy arrives!
  • Jasper: How are we gonna finish until then, Chuckster?!!
  • Chuck E.: Jasper, hold your horses! Everyone, if we're gonna get this place ready, we have to work together! All of us have to pitch in and do our part! If we do, I bet my place will be ready before you know it! Are you with me?!
  • Everyone else: YEAH!!!!!!
  • Chuck E.: Then let's get to work!

(Everyone in the restaurant cheers; changes to them getting ready for the party and decorating. Music to "Whistle While You Work" starts.)

All: Just whistle while you work

(whistle)

Put on that grin

And start right in

To whistle loud and long

Just hum a merry tune

(hum)

Just do your best

And take a rest

And sing yourself a song

When there's too much to do

Don't let it bother you

Forget your troubles

Try to be

Just like a cheerful chickadee

And whistle while you work

(whistle)

Come on, get smart

Tune up and start

To whistle while you work

(The oven timer dings; Pasqually takes out the finished cake.)

  • Pasqually: The cake is ready!

(The five kids who helped him cheer.)

  • Tiffany: Now all we have to do is decorate!
  • Toby: I found some frosting bags!
  • Sam: Here's some sprinkles!
  • David: How about these pretty cake toppers?
  • Jacob: Better not forget the candles!
  • Pasqually: Oh, these are great! Everyone, sprinkle away! (giggles)

(They all decorate the cake; the setup continues.)

All: When there's too much to do

Don't let it bother you

Forget your troubles

Try to be

Just like a cheerful chickadee

And whistle while you work

(whistle)

Come on, get smart

Tune up and start

Come on, get smart

Tune up and start

Come on, get smart

Tune up and start

To whistle while you work

(Song ends and they cheer. Pans through the fully decorated restaurant; most of the guests and kids have party hats on, and Roxy's cake is situated on its platter at the main table.)

  • Helen: Oh, Chuck E., it's perfect! You made your place look super!
  • Munch: Perfect for a birthday star!

(They all voice agreeing comments.)

  • Chuck E.: Thanks, everyone! But I couldn't have done it without everyone's help.
  • Charlie: Now we're ready to surprise Roxy! All we have to do is hide and jump out when she enters!
  • Brandon: But how will we know when it's time to jump out?
  • Chuck E.: When Roxy comes in, wait for me to give the signal.
  • Toby: Signal?
  • Chuck E.: When I count three, we'll all jump out and yell "SURPRISE!".
  • Kids: Ohhhhh!
  • Jasper: Good idea, Chuck E.
  • Chuck E.: I need your help to surprise Roxy. On the count of three, yell "surprise" with us!

(At the window, Spencer sees a car pull in; he turns around to give the alert.)

  • Spencer: ROXY'S COMING! She and her parents have pulled up outside!
  • Chuck E.: Okay, everybody hide! Hurry!

(They all rush to find good hiding spaces. Behind the games, under the tables, behind the counter, behind doors, behind the party tables, concealed behind the instruments onstage, and behind the curtains. Only Larry stays out.)

  • Chuck E.: Larry, the lights!
  • Larry: Okay, Chuck.

(He presses a remote; all the lights turn off, and Larry hides.)

  • Chuck E.: Shh...

(They all stay as quiet as they can. The doors swing open, and Roxy and her parents arrive. A female Kid Check employee addresses them.)

  • Kid Check Employee: Welcome to Chuck E. Cheese's. Have fun.

(She stamps Roxy's hand and the parents' hands, then opens the rope to let them through. Roxy sees the restaurant quiet and dark.)

  • Roxy: Hello? Anybody here?

(Time to give the signal.)

  • Chuck E.: Here we go! One... two... three...

(All the lights come on, and everybody jumps out!)

  • All: SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!

(Confetti, balloons, and streamers start falling from the ceiling; Roxy is surprised indeed.)

  • Roxy: Oh!... Oh, my...!
  • All: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROXY!

(They all cheer and chatter as Roxy and her parents head to the main table. Roxy sits down and Chuck E. puts a crown on her head.)

  • Roxy: Wow! I did NOT expect this at all! Cousin Charlie, thank you!
  • Charlie: You're welcome, Roxy. But it's Chuck E. Cheese whom you should be thanking.
  • Roxy's mom: Thank you, Chuck E., for getting everything done just in time.
  • Roxy's dad: You really went all out!
  • Chuck E.: You're welcome, Roxy's parents! After all, everyone pitched in.
  • Pasqually: I made the cake!
  • Munch: And I'm resisting it until it's time!

(They all laugh.)

  • Jasper: Now what do you say we get this party started?!

(Everyone cheers happily.)

  • Helen: Come on, Chuck E.! It's time for the Birthday Star Spectacular!
  • Chuck E.: I'm coming! Light 'em up, Larry!

(He rushes onstage; Larry pushes the remote, activating the stage lights. Munch's Make Believe Band is onstage; the crowd cheers them.)

  • Chuck E.: Alright, Roxy! This is for you!

(Pasqually gives a countoff; they start playing the Birthday Star song.)

  • Chuck E.: Alright, everybody! It's time to celebrate our birthday star, Roxy!

(They all cheer her.)

Chuck E. and Helen: We say happy, you say birthday.

Happy!

Munch, Jasper, Pasqually, and audience: Birthday!

Chuck E. and Helen: Happy!

Munch, Jasper, Pasqually, and audience: Birthday!

Chuck E.: Clap your hands! (Clapping 3x)

Now stomp your feet! (Stomping 3x)

All: You're a birthday star with Chuck E. Cheese
