Hello Chuck E. Cheese Wiki users, I wanted to put this blog post out to review the second 3 months of the CEC Wiki. Also I would just like to thank everyone who has contributed over the past 3 months, your work helps keep this wiki an amazing source and database for Chuck E. Cheese information.
Firstly, I want to review the goals that were set for the second quarter of 2024.
- Chuck E. Cheese Food Products - Chuck E. Cheese has had a lot of food products produced over the years, but it isn't well documented. I want to add pages about them to show off these delicious CEC products from over the years.
- Store Décor - Chuck E. Cheese's always has great and unique décor that is worth being added to this wiki. This includes posters, pictures, carpets, and more.
- Training Tapes & Diagnostics - While I failed at adding this content in the first quarter of 2024, I still really want to add this content. It's very unique and shows a lot of things you might not know. I also decided to add diagnostics since they both are very similar and deserve to be on the wiki.
While Chuck E. Cheese Food Products weren't completed the other two goals were at least started. Store Décor shows the standard exterior for all phases as well as some interior décor from different phases. Training Tapes goes over the beginning era of Chuck E. Cheese Training Tapes, but ends at only 1994. Even though Chuck E. Cheese Food Products and Diagnostics weren't started, I do plan on adding them in the future. As for the other two goals, they will continue to be updated in the future to include more information.
While Store Décor and Training Tapes were apart of the second quarter, they weren't the only things worked on. Here's the top 10 things the CEC Wiki has worked on in the past 3 months.
- Animatronics - Animatronics continued to be added to the CEC Wiki! In total, As of this review, 24 animatronics have been added. This means that 57 animatronics have been finished, which is about 48% of all CEC animatronics.
- Stages - 18 news stages were added to the CEC Wiki! This is great because now more different stages are on the wiki.
- Songs/Showtapes - Around 115 new Songs/Showtapes were added to the wiki! This is amazing because the more songs and showtapes are added, the more people will get to listen to these songs and showtapes. Along with that CEC TV IDs got reworked, which removed fake IDs and gave more information on real IDs.
- Puppets - New Helen and Bella puppets were added to the wiki, which lets people get to see more puppets from the past and present.
- Locations - Many new locations were added to the wiki, which lets people learn about specific Chuck E. Cheese's.
- Logos - Even more logos were added to the CEC Wiki! Logos are a key part of Chuck E. Cheese's, so it's great to finally have even more variants!
- Fixed & Added Categories - Multiple categories were updated and reworked to better categorize information. Along with that, multiple new categories were added to better group information.
- ShowBiz Pizza Content - ShowBiz Pizza Content like their characters and band were added to the wiki. This is great because ShowBiz has a closely related history with Chuck E. Cheese's.
- Around the Store - More games and features were added to the wiki.
- Wiki Updates - The wiki finally got a community banner, along with some of the newly added logos being tweaked to improve them. Along with this, a blocking policy was added to make bans on the wiki consistent and fair. Discussions were also added, which has helped build and strengthen the wiki's community. Finally, the Chuck E. Cheese Wiki reached A+ Wiki Status, making it one in only around 100 wikis on fandom to have the status!
These were just the main 10 things worked on by the Chuck E. Cheese Wiki during the first quarter of 2024. This quarter added so much new content, while also updated older content. Now it's time to list some new goals for the second quarter of 2024.
- Chuck E. Cheese Food Products - While I failed at adding this content in the second quarter of 2024, I still really want to add this content. Chuck E. Cheese has had a lot of food products produced over the years, but it isn't well documented. I want to add pages about them to show off these delicious CEC products from over the years.
- Arcade Games - Chuck E. Cheese's always has exclusive and modified arcade games featuring Chuck and the band that can be hard to find online. I want to find information about them so everyone can learn about their favorite arcade games.
- Merchandise - Along with arcade games, Chuck E. Cheese's has had tons of exclusive merchandize. From plushies to toys, party supplies, and more, Chuck E. has done it all. I want to document all of this so users can explore the vast history of CEC memorabilia.
Overall, the second quarter of 2024 has big a huge success for the Chuck E. Cheese Wiki, especially since we reached some of our goals. I just wanted to thank all of our contributors again for helping out in adding information to the Chuck E. Cheese Wiki, you guys are amazing at what you do! I also just wanted to shoutout all our discussions posters as you guys help find obscure information and brighten our days!
