The Turntable 1-Stage is a full character stage setup produced and installed in Chuck E. Cheese's restaurants from 1994-1998. It is a variant of the 1-Stage, with Chuck E. being placed on a turntable that could hide him when the walkaround came out. Starting in 2005 the turntable, (along with the curtains) would be disabled to save money.

History[]

In 1994, the Turntable 1-Stage was introduced to hide the Chuck E. Cyberamic so kids wouldn't be confused between the chuck e cyberamic and the chuck e mascot. This was because Chuck didn't have his own curtains beacuse it was a one stage which meant a one stage meant only one set of curtains. It would start to be disabled in 2005 along with the curtains due to orders from CEC Entertainment to save money.

Design[]

As the name implies, the characters share 1 floor space to have the stage smaller. The rooftop setting and buildings are more vibrant compared to the 2 and 3-Stages, with more color and design than just grey and rectangles. Along with those, two brick walls are placed behind Chuck E. and Pasqually. Chuck's side has the fiber optic sign in black, and a red rope light replacing the 2-Stage star. Chuck E. also stands on a turntable, which reveals a black tinsel wall on the other side. The "Munch's Make Believe Band Sign", which is Pink on this stage, hangs either above Pasqually's brick wall or right behind Mr. Munch. On this stage, Jasper sits on an amplifier. Finally, it has a curtain valence and curtains.

Trivia[]

  • The Turntable 1-Stage in Pearl City, Hawaii permanently has their turntable turned around. This is because the Chuck E. Cyberamic was in horrible condition, so it was easier for them to just hide him. They eventually removed the black tinsel, added a rope light star, and rope lights around the turntable base on the wall side of the turntable. The rope light star was later replaced with a flat screen TV and the wall was painted blue.
