- Jasper: Yep, summertime's great alright. Time for all my favorite activities, like fishing!
- Helen: Well, my idea of a fun summer water sport is swimming, and sunning at the pool with my friends!

- Munch: Hey Chuck E., if we're gonna have a pool party. We'll be needing some food.
- Pasqually: Aw hey, and not to worry. I've a-been working on a special new barbeque pizza, for just a-such an occasion! (chuckles)
- Munch: Alright!
- Jasper: Hey, and we come play some fun games!
- Pasqually: a-Like a-frisbee!
- Helen: And volleyball!
- Jasper: Or kick the can!
- Munch: Well I vote for that favorite national pastime, baseball.
- Pasqually: Are we getting a-too carried away Chuck E.?
(The instrumental to "Fun" starts playing)
- Chuck E.: No, it's summertime! Time to have fun and go a little crazy with it!
(The band agrees in excitement; Fun starts playing)
(Song ends; audience cheers)
- Helen: Wow, summertime is the best time for parties and fun!
- Chuck E.: Speaking of fun kids, let's play some games and have some serious fun right here! The band and I will back with more summertime festivities in a few minutes!

(In My Pool starts playing)

- Jasper: TBA
- Chuck E.: Oh Jasper, I had no idea that my fabulous singing and lyrical approach would-
- Jasper: Okay I'm good, yall ready to hear a song that I wrote?
(Audience, Munch, and Helen laugh)
Munch: Boy Jasper, you are a kidder aren't you?

- Helen: A picnic is one of my favorite ways to spend a summer day.
- Chuck E.:
- Jasper: Watch out for ants though.
- Pasqually: Good point.
- Munch: TBA
- Helen: I wouldn't think you would be the one to miss a picnic Munch.
- Munch:
(Bar B Q starts playing)

- Helen: The only problem with cookin' outside is all the bugs.
- Pasqually: TBA
- Munch: What do the police do to get rid of bugs?

- Chuck E.: Yeah Munch, summertime sure is great!
- Munch: Oh yeah!
- Helen: (chuckles) I think we all enjoyed your song Munch.
- Munch: Well thanks Helen!
- Jasper: It sounds like you're gonna have LOTS of fun this summer, Munch!
- Munch: Yeah-well you know, I like school, but I always need that relaxation and fun of the summertime!

- Munch: Oh oh yeah! Every summer we couldn't get out of the door without hearing these three familiar letters from Mom:
