The Pizza Time Players were the original stage band featured at Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre (and later Chuck E. Cheese) locations from 1977 until 1990. The PTP configuration was first used with the Portrait Stage and the Balcony Stage.
The band would be retired in 1990 in favor of Munch's Make Believe Band amongst Concept Unification.

Concept Unification and Retirement[]
In June 1990, Chuck E. Cheese introduced Munch's Make Believe Band, featuring the same animatronic characters. This concept was first tested on the 3-Stage, a stage retrofit of The Rock-afire Explosion stage, and then the Road Stage a few months later. By 1993, the Balcony Stage would become extinct in Chuck E. Cheese locations, with the Lake Forest Stage, a Balcony and Portrait Stage hybrid, lasting until 2001. Some Balcony Stage animatronics are still in use today, but they have been turned into full-bodied Cyberamics.
The last stage to originally contain the Pizza Time Players was Chuck E.'s House, with the stage being removed in 2022 in favor of the Chuck E. Live Stage.
Members[]
The original members of the band featured Chuck E. Cheese, Jasper T. Jowls, Pasqually, Crusty the Cat, and The Warblettes with a rotating female guest character. By 1978, Crusty was replaced by Mr. Munch. Additionally, for a brief period of time, The Mopsey Sisters replaced The Warblettes. With the introduction of Chuck E.'s House and Chuck E.'s House Facade, the backup singers would be replaced once again with the Singing Flowers.
