Halloween at the Pizza Time Theatre is a short that was first uploaded on the official Chuck E. Cheese YouTube channel on October 31st, 2018, with the short being included in Show #4 2019, which was released about a year later. The short has since been unlisted by Chuck E. Cheese.

The short is a parody of the survival horror video game franchise Five Nights at Freddy's, which took its inspiration from Chuck E. Cheese and other similar entertainment chains.

Plot[]

The short revolves around Chuck E. having to receive Pasqually's old Halloween pumpkin spice pizza recipe, which he left at the old Pizza Time Theatre.

Trivia[]

  • Both this short and Home for the Holidays were both co-produced by Theory Studios.[1]
    • The designs for the characters in both shorts were created by Jill Blue.[2]
  • The short is noticeably a parody of the game "Five Nights at Freddy's", which is a game that was released in 2014. The game brought wide main stream attention to animatronics, especially CEC's animatronics and The Rock-afire Explosion, with many YouTube and TikTok videos capitalizing on the supposed "haunted" aspect of CEC animatronics, as well as the largely debunked myth that CEC recycles their pizza. It is believed that casual visitors comparing the CEC animatronics to the FNAF animatronics was one of the factors in the decision to replace them with the Chuck E. Live Stage.
