Chuck E. Cheese's & PTT[]
Fun Zone & Pizza was originally a Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre in Chico, California that opened in July 1982 with a Balcony Stage. Around 1989/1990 the location would replace their Balcony Stage with a C-Stage. The location would then get the SPT 1992 Remodel Program in 1993 which updated the décor and replaced their C-Stage with a 2-Stage.
Chico, California's stage would receive little to no maintenance by the end of the 2000s, with barely any movements functioning properly. Rumors around the time said that the location gave out dollar store toys and served frozen pizza. Chico would try to receive the CEC 2005 Remodel Program, but they only ended up painting their walls due to insufficient funds. Corporate would then step in and revoke the franchise's rights to use the Chuck E. Cheese's brand and characters for policy violations. Chuck E. Cheese's would then have the Cyberamic's internal mechanisms removed, leaving only the animatronic frames.
Fun Zone & Pizza[]
Fun Zone & Pizza opened in January 2011 after corporate shut the location down due to supposed policy violations. Fun Zone & Pizza replaced and hid all their CEC store décor as well as retrofitting their 2-Stage's Cyberamic frames.
The problems plaguing the location would get worse as the location received less and less money. In September 2011, Fun Zone & Pizza closed and all of it's inventory were auctioned off. The building would then become a seasonal Halloween store until becoming vacant again in 2015. The building was finally demolished in 2016, and the site is now a DaVita location.
