Dance Party (also known as the April 1999 Show) is a showtape that played at CEC locations from April to July of 1999. This showtape mostly revolved around dancing and having fun.

  • This was the first show for many things:
    • The first show to feature Earl Fisher as Pasqually.
    • The first show to feature John Bowen as Munch, taking over from Duncan.
    • The first show to feature intermissions from VeggieTales, and Eddie Coker.
    • The first show to feature Super Jasper intermissions, alongside the first appearance of Mike Manley.
    • The first show to feature Avenger Chuck E. Cheese's familiar voice tone after having gotten a few steps deeper with the New Jersey accent becoming less noticeable and more faint since the last showtape.
  • Most of "Dancin' and Singin" was filmed in Wayside Middle School in Forth Worth, Texas.
  • Most of the songs here have the word "Dance" in some way.
  • Chuck E.'s curtains close during Chuck E. Town on all versions. For the Studio C versions, Chuck E.'s curtains close during Dancin' and Singin'.
  • Munch and Jasper would sing Hip Mouse and Dancin’ on The Moon respectively on the Existing Stages version, while Chuck E. would sing both songs on the Studio C version.
  • This is the last show to use Laserdisc for Studio C.
