Creative Engineering, Inc. is a company founded and operated by Aaron Fechter.
History[]
Creation[]
Originally, the company was founded as a way for Aaron to produce various engineering ideas. Fechter would be drawn to animatronics, designing shows for Orlando-based theme parks after failing to receive payment from a park for his control system he had built to work a shooting gallery game.
ShowBiz Pizza Place[]
Later on, Creative Engineering would launch an American family entertainment center and pizza restaurant chain known as ShowBiz Pizza Place with Robert L. Brock. Creative Engineering would produce an animatronic band known as The Rock-afire Explosion for the chain from 1980-1986. Relations would sour in the late 80s, causing Creative Engineering to cut ties with ShowBiz Pizza Place.
Modern Day[]
Post ShowBiz Pizza[]
After ShowBiz Pizza Place Creative Engineering would slow down production on animatronic shows. By the early 2000's Creative Engineering would stop production on new animatronic shows all together. Creative Engineering still operates today solely by Aaron Fechter. He doesn't produce new shows, but he does restore existing shows.
