Chuck E. Cheese Portrait Animatronic (2nd Generation) was the most commonly used portrait animatronic of Chuck E. Cheese at Chuck E. Cheese locations. This version debuted along with Helen Henny. Only one 2nd generation Chuck E. Cheese bot was made.
Design[]
This design had a circular head, white eyelids and rings around Chuck E.'s eyes, thick black eyebrows and black eyelashes, green or blue irises depending on the animatronic, a reddish-tan snout with a black nose, round ears with pink in the middle, reddish-tan skin on his hands, two white upper teeth, and light-grey fur on his head and body. Overall this design was a very different design compared to the 1st generation and the prototype.
Outfits[]
The 2nd Generation Chuck E. Cheese Portrait Animatronic had an outfit similar to the walkaround. Chuck E. wore a red and white patterned vest, a yellow undershirt with three small buttons, a black bowtie, and a red derby hat with a yellow band. Along with Chuck E.'s outfit, he had a cigar in his left hand and a microphone in his right hand.
Department 18 Outfit[]
In Department 18 an unreleased outfit for the Gen 2 Chuck E. Cheese Portrait Animatronic was found. The design was the same but Chuck E. had a different outfit. This outfit had a green and white patterned vest with black accents, a white and yellow undershirt with three small buttons, a black bowtie, and a red derby hat with a yellow band. He also still had a cigar in his left hand and a microphone in his right hand.
Patriotic Outfit[]
In Department 18 an unreleased outfit for the Gen 2 Chuck E. Cheese Portrait Animatronic was found. This outfit wore all the same things as the department 18 outfit, but this outfit had some new pieces. Chuck E. wore a sparkling red and white striped top hat, with a blue band that had white stars, and blue for the crown and outer brim over his derby hat, along with a white rectangular pin that had an image of the American flag on it.
Movement[]
The 2nd Generation Chuck E. Cheese Portrait Animatronic had most of the capabilities of the 1st gen bot. He could move his arms up and down, move from side to side, blink, and move his jaw up and down. However, he could now move his eyes in all different directions.
Inconsistencies[]
- This animatronic, while mostly being seen with green eyes, would sometimes have blue eyes. This is most notably found in late 70s TV ads for Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre.
