Controls

In Chuck E. Cheese's Sports Games you use a Nintendo Will Remote to control your character. You can also choose to make your character left or right handed.

Game Design

Chuck E. Cheese's Sports Games uses 3-D models of the Avenger Era Chuck E Cheese designs. These models are of questionable quality and can clip in-and-out of other models in game modes like golf.

Save Files

You can make 3 different save files in Chuck E. Cheese's Sports Games. You can even give the save files names. Each save file also has its own border which can be for tennis, baseball, or bowling. There is a trash can that you can use to delete save files.

Game Modes

Chuck E. Cheese's Sports Games has 9 playable game modes. These are baseball, tennis, ice hockey, golf, bowling, fishing, kart racing, water filling, and target practice. Target practice requires you to get gold medals in the 8 other game modes before you can unlock it.

Baseball

In baseball you hit baseballs in a timed high-score minigame. The goal of the game is to get the highest score before the time runs out. The farther you hit the ball the more points you get. You also get more points if you have a combo. If you keep hitting the baseballs in a row you'll get a combo. If you miss a ball you get a strike which wastes some of your time. This minigame lasts for 90 seconds.

Tennis

In tennis you hit tennis balls in a high-score minigame. The goal of the game is to get the highest score before you use all 5 of your tennis balls. You want to hit your tennis balls back and fourth against the wall for as long as you can. If you don't hit your ball or it goes past the wall you lose a tennis ball. When you lose all of your tennis balls the game ends. There is also a target that appears sometimes, and if your ball hits it you get bonus points.

Ice Hockey

In ice hockey you hit pucks into a goal in a high-score minigame. The goal of the game is to get the highest score you can by timing 10 shots. You want to swing when the moving bar is in the orange to get a goal. The closer you swing to the red bar in the middle of the orange bar the more points you get. If you don't swing in the orange bar then you miss the shot and get 0 points. You only get 10 shots before the minigame ends.

Golf

In golf you hit golf balls into a hole in as many hits as you can. The goal of the game is to end the game with the lowest amount of points. The more times you hit the ball the more points you get. The bar at the bottom of the screen shows you how much power you put into your swing. The more red the bar gets the more powerful the hit is. You can also rotate to angle your shots. There are 9 holes in total.

Bowling

In bowling you roll a bowling ball down a lane to knock down as many pins as you can. The goal of the game is to end the game with the most amount of points in 10 rounds. You can move your character left and right to roll the ball down any part of the lane. When you roll the ball it will start to curve as is goes down the lane. The farther you are from the middle the more the ball curves. If you're on the left side of the lane the ball turns to the left and if you're on the right side of the lane the ball turns to the right. If you get a strike or a spare you get extra points, and if you hit a strike or a spare on round 10 you can get a third turn.

Fishing

In fishing you fish up fish in a timed high-score minigame. The goal of the game is to get the highest score before the time runs out. The more fish you catch the more points you get. To catch a fish you must lower your rod when the fish's mouth is open. There are 5 different fish to catch. If you catch the correctly colored fish while they appear next to the timer you get bonus points. If you miss a fish's mouth then you have to reel your rod back up, wasting your time. This minigame lasts for 90 seconds.

Kart Racing

In kart racing you go around a track for three laps in a timed match. The goal of the game is to get the highest score after three laps. There are two types of boxes that you can collect to help you. Yellow boxes give you points while blue boxes give you a speed boost. You want to get as many yellow and blue boxes as you can while also trying to complete the laps as fast as you can. You also get a time bonus for how fast you complete the race.

Water Filling

In water filling you fill up a hole with water in a timed high-score minigame. The goal of the game is to get to the end as fast as you can. You want to shoot your water into the hole to make your character move while also making sure to let your water reload. You can tell how much water you can shoot by the blue bar. The more blue the bar is the more water you have. The more water you get in the farther your character moves along. The faster your character makes it to the end the more points you get. There is also a CPU that plays but they don't effect your final score. If you spray water at your character or the CPU it causes them to spin out. They can't move while spinning out so don't shoot yourself. This minigame lasts for 90 seconds.

Target Practice

In target practice you shoot down targets in a timed high-score minigame. The goal of the game is to get the most amount of points before the time ends. Targets can give points, double the amount of points given from the next target, reverse the direction the darts move, or give extra darts. You can have up to six darts at a time. When you run out of darts you have to wait to reload them. This game can only be accessed after getting gold medals in all of the other 8 games. This minigame lasts for 90 seconds.

Unlockables

Chuck E. Cheese's Sports Games has some unlockables you can get. You can unlock medals, Mr. Munch, and target practice.
