Chuck E. Cheese's Skate Universe (currently known as Chuck E. Cheese Skate Universe) is a endless runner mobile game that was first released on June 14th, 2014 on the Google Play Store and App Store.
Gameplay[]
There are three different maps playable in the game:
- Coconut Park (a jungle-themed map)
- Sweet Scape (a candy-themed map)
- Yeti River Run (a winter-themed map)
Coconut Park uses collectible golden pizza, while Sweet Scape and Yeti River Run both use golden fish. The former used to use golden pizza.
The player was able to receive up to 500 tickets each for the Coconut Park and Sweet Scape maps that could be redeemed in participating Chuck E. Cheese locations, though this feature was removed in 2022.
Yeti River Run was introduced in the game during late 2014, costing an additional $0.99 to play.[1] It was later made free alongside the other two maps.
Controls[]
The player has a set of moves to control Chuck E.: ducking, jumping, moving side to side, and a double jump ability.
Customization[]
The player is able to customize Chuck E.'s gear, which consists of a customizable helmet and board. A majority of helmets and boards are locked, with the player being required to do missions/quests in order to unlock them.
Trivia[]
- Hard Hat Hank, Zoey (listed as Zoe), and Steve Waters. all formerly appeared on the leaderboard. The leaderboard was revamped in 2022 to include more recent characters such as Bella Bunny and Ronaldo Sagittarian.
- Ronnie also has a board dedicated to him. The board is able to be unlocked when the player surpasses 50 meters on the Sweet Scape map.[2]
- The game includes custom voice lines from Jaret Reddick, the voice of Chuck E.
