The Building is a simple animatronic of a high-rise building featured on the 3-Stage. It serves as a background vocalist during songs, much like the Singing Flowers (who were actually featured on very early 3-Stage models) and The Warblettes. Building was previously the Sun from The Rock-afire Explosion.

Charlotte (Pineville), North Carolina is currently the last 3-Stage to have the Building and Moon operating. Billings, Montana had them prior to their 2.0 renovation, but they were turned off.

History

Building is a retrofit of Sun who originated from ShowBiz Pizza Place. During Concept Unification, Sun was turned into this character.

Over time, Building would be removed from stores but to a much lesser extent than Pizzacam and Munch Jr.

Currently only one Building animatronic remains, that being in the Charlotte "Pineville", North Carolina location as apart of their legacy store treatment.

Design

Building, as it's title suggests, is a dark grey (sometimes light grey) high-rise building with a large mouth and two yellow window eyes.

On Building's prototype, it used light grey wood cosmetics with a latex mouth and black window eyes to blend in more with the backdrop.

Later Building (Light Grey) This is the later mold they used. The difference being he is a lighter grey.

Later Building (Dark Grey) Being the same as the last one. Except he was installed from late 1991 and was painted into a more darker grey.
