American Pride was a showtape that played at CEC locations from May to June 1991. This showtape is not meant to be confused with CEC American Pride/Neighbors, which was released the previous year.

- This was the first showtape to have actual intermissions like the CEC TV Specials, Geography Rap, and Helen Henny's Hollywood.
- This showtape was not played in Canada as some CEC stores were confused on why they were playing an American Patriotic showtape. CEC TV Classics '91 was then chosen as the alternate showtape for stores in Canada.
- The cel drawings were drawn by Dan Peeler and Charlie Rose.
