A Chuck E. Cheese Christmas is an animated special produced by HappyNest Entertainment, with animation production services by Pixel Zoo Animation Studios. The special premiered on YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Roku, Kidoodle TV, HappyKids, YouTube Kids, Samsung, LG, and Fire TV on November 27, 2025, serving as a backdoor pilot for a full series. Prior to that date, a fifteen minute watch party was held in all Chuck E. Cheese locations on November 23, at 10:30 am.[1] A Spanish dubbed version is also available on the Chuck E. Cheese en Español YouTube channel.[2]
Official Description[]
Get ready for the most festive celebration ever as Chuck E. and his friends (Helen, Jasper, Munch, Bella and Pasqually) team up to throw Santa Claus a surprise party to lift Christmas spirits across the North Pole and beyond! But just as the preparations kick into high gear, a mischievous elf named Leggymos decides he doesn’t want the holiday cheer to spread and sets out to sabotage the big surprise.
Plot[]
When Chuck E. and friends learn that Santa Claus has never experienced a Christmas party (because he is always exhausted from working on Christmas Eve) they set out to throw a surprise Christmas celebration for Santa as a "thank you" for all the joy he brings to the world! The party also winds up doubling as a way to save their town from the meddling of a holiday-hating evildoer.[3]

Trivia[]
- A rooster crowing sound effect is heard offscreen as night becomes day in the city.
- The rooster is mentioned to be Helen's father, waking up the residents.
- This is the second TV length holiday special featuring characters from the Chuck E. Cheese IP. The first attempt was with "The Christmas That Almost Wasn't", which was released (albeit unfinished) in 1983.
- The original working title was "The Chuck E. And Friends! Holiday Special"[3] as well as another working title being "The Chuck E. Cheese Christmas Surprise Party" according to some audition scripts for the special. The special was initially announced to be called "The Chuck E. Cheese Christmas Special", not to be related to the 1995 showtape of the same name.
- According to the Chuck E. and Friends! pitch bible, the special was planned for release in multiple languages, including Spanish, Arabic, and French. However, as of the special’s release, only the Spanish dub has been made available, and no information has been provided regarding the status of the remaining planned dubs.
- Despite this, an unofficial Persian dub was created in December of 2025 by Hashmat Software.[4]
- The Spanish voice cast of the special featured the most diverse group of voice actors in any Chuck E. Cheese production, with performances recorded across Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, and Miami by their respective voice actors.
- The Spanish voice cast mainly consists of actors who may not be famous in mainstream media but are known for dubbing online animated series like SMG4, Fazbear & Friends and especially shows that began on YouTube, such as Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss.
- Two different lines of apparel based on the special were released in October 2025 on Amazon and the official Chuck E. Cheese store.
- A promo for the special is included in the end of all live shows in Winter Show 2025.
- The first few seconds of the special's introduction were leaked on November 8, 2025.
- Additionally, the full special was leaked on November 19, 2025 but was taken down by CEC Entertainment two days after it was uploaded.
- As promotion for the special, Zac Moncrief, co-director and writer for the special, began doing a daily countdown towards the special with info and behind the scenes stuff on his Instagram and X accounts.
- Many references to Chuck E. Cheese history and characters are also in special, such as:
- Background characters bearing resemblances to Dino Summer, Ronnie the Unicorn, Phil, B.B. Bubbles, Madame Oink, and Crusty the Cat.
- A scene set on The Partymobile shows the various addresses of Christmas decoration deliveries, the last few of them being real-life addresses for Chuck E. Cheese locations, including Burbank, CA; North Bergen, NJ; Paramus, NJ; Sun Valley, CA; and the first Pizza Time Theatre in San Jose, CA. The corporate headquarters address is also featured, as well as the address for the HappyNest Entertainment headquarters.
- Pasqually's restaurant features an address number of "370", as well as "77 Engine 77", both also references to the first Pizza Time Theatre.
- Plush toys of the characters appear in the background in Santa's workshop, as well as in a claw machine in Pasqually's.
- A caricature of Zac Moncrief, the special's executive producer, is shown when Chuck E. mentions the "emergency soul patch removal" while as a doctor.
- "Christmas is cancelled" was often said as a catchphrase in this special.
- Joy Vey is a play on the Yiddish expression, "Oy Vey", which refers to someone in distress.
- The Halloween mask the casher of Joy Vey shows to Jasper and Bella is originally from the Chuck E. and Friends! version of "Pumpkins in My Pockets."
- One of the posters in the background of the gang's hangout is a parody of the cover to Abbey Road, an album by The Beatles.
- The end credits to the special feature a special thanks to "..all of our parents and loved ones who took us to Chuck E. Cheese as kids."
